Prachi Bhatnagar

Born in 1984, Prachi Bhatnagar a photographer and artist spent her childhood years in Manchester, United Kingdom. Prachi took up life-drawing and painting in school and have been hooked ever since. More recently she has started using photography as a creative tool. Prachi studied anthropology at university and she is now a public health researcher at the University of Oxford.
What do we like about Prachi's works?
Urban collection is Prachi's first showcase with an art gallery and The Waterhouse is very proud to present her works as her photographs often captures the 'good' moment. Moments that mark an impression for a long time or perhaps a life-time. The most suitable word to describe Prachi's work is 'Augenblick' - eyes of the moment.
And her favorite medium?
'When painting I love to use oils, but I also frequently sketch with pencils and charcoal. The majority of my artworks focus on people in one form or another, but I do stray into abstracts on occasion too.'

Urban collection is now available in WGallery, The Waterhouse.
