잔잔한 물 위에 이불을 펴고
두 팔과 두 다리를 마음대로 펴고
편안하게 누워서
정처없이 흘러다니고 싶다.
뜨거운 태양도 좋고
시커먼 구름이어도 좋고
청명한 가을 하늘이어도 좋겠다.
반짝반짝 별이 빛나는 밤하늘이어도 좋다.
무심무념으로 누워서
잔잔한 음악까지 곁들인다면
여태까지 몰랐던 어떤 심연의 세계로
도달할 것 같은 느낌이 든다.

I wish to make a bed on gentle waves,
to lie in peace
with arms and legs spread out as I please,
and to drift aimlessly with the currents.
The hot sun,
sooty black clouds,
or a crisp clear autumn sky would not matter.
Nor would a starry night.
It feels like if laying mysef down
free from all ideas and thoughts
and accompanied with placid music,
I will reach a world of abyss
that has been hitherto unknown to me
